Location: Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina

From Brevard, drive into the Pisgah National Forest on highway 276. Turn right on 477, 0.6 miles past the ranger station. (The ranger station is on the right approximately 1.5 miles past the forest entrance.) Drive 5.0 miles on 477 to the Bennett Gap trailhead on the left. The trail begins on a closed road.
