Location: Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina

Driving north on the Blue Ridge Parkway, park at the Graveyard Fields parking lot on the left near mile 418.8. (The parking lot is 4.6 miles northeast of the highway 215 access to the parkway.) There are two trails leaving the parking lot. You want the one on the right (northeast) side of the parking lot.

Ascend 700 feet from river to Ivestor Gap

immediately turn left on the rocks by the water
walk several yards and turn right on any of numerous paths up the hill
(keep ascending on paths heading north until you find the one that
continues beyond the campsites)
