Location: Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina

Drive north on NC highway 276 into the Pisgah National Forest from highway 64 outside of Brevard. Drive about 11 miles past the Ranger Station and turn right on 1206. (This turn is 0.3 miles past the Pink Beds recreation area.) Drive 1.3 miles to where the Mountains-to-Sea Trail crosses the road. The trailhead is on the left. (Several yards before you get to the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, there is a parking area on the right where another trail crosses the road.)
